Hot, Sweltering, Sticky, The Words Usually Associated With Weather Down South this time of year, This Year Has Only Felt Like The South! A Very Warm Winter, Followed By A Warm Spring, Followed By A Sweltering Start To Summer! When Will The Heat End??? Not Anytime Within The Next Week That’s For Sure! Prepare For Mucky Nights, Power Outages, And The Threat Of Heat Related Illness. I Have Issued A HEAT WAVE ALERT For The 2nd Time in A Week! We Are Now in for A Record Number Of 95+ Degree Days For Southern Portions Of The Region! Models Show Breaks In the heat In The Future. But The Near Future Only Shows More Of It.

Thunderstorms Will Threaten 4th Of July Festivities. But Any Rain Will be Good For This Heat.

A Nice Warm Day Today From New York State To Connecticut And Down To Philadelphia! Back Door Cold Front Will Influence More Of The Region Tomorrow With Much Cooler Temperatures! Maine Had 30’s And Snow Today And Boston Had Cloudy Skies And Temperatures In The Low 40’s! While NYC Hit 70 Degrees And Philadelphia Hit The Mid 70’s! Tomorrow Philly On Over To Lake Ontario Down Into Pennsylvania Will Feel The Heat! NYC Cools Off By As Much As 15 Degrees! Friday Could Be A Bit Warmer Upper 50’s To Lower 60’s For NJ And CT But Don’t Worry! The Region Recovers Nicely Over The Weekend And Next Week Looks Awesome! Especially Late Week! Stay Tuned For More On That!

Overnight Tonight Showers Overspread The Region And Then Tomorrow An Ocean Influence Keeps Much Of New England Cooler Than Today While NY NJ And PA Bask In The Mid To Upper 70’s! Ok So Here Is The Setup: A Massive Ridge Is Beginning To Build Along The East Coast And Temperatures Will Begin To Soar!

How High Will The Mercury Go?

On Tuesday We Will Get A Strong Southwest Flow Which Will Really Heat Up The Region. At A First Glance Of Latest Model Guidance Many Are Sure To Be In The 70’s! Tomorrow, Monday, The Southwest Flow Will Push Temperatures to 70 For The Big Cities! But Tuesday We Really Get Going Temperature-Wise Before Our Next Cold Front On Wednesday (Which Will Bring Snow To Maine)! I Can See Places Like Lancaster PA And Philadelphia Reaching The Upper 70’s To 80 Degrees On Tuesday! NYC To Allentown PA Will See Temperatures In The Mid 70’s To Possibly Upper 70’s! Hartford To Boston Will See Temps Right Around The Low To Possibly Mid 70’s!
